Basic Hummus

Hey friends! We LOVE hummus around here, but we are a busy family so we tend to keep it pretty basic and easy, so this recipe is simple – but delicious!

INGREDIENTS

2 cans of chick peas, rinsed

3 garlic cloves

2 tbsp olive oil (I love the flavor of THIS ONE!)

Juice of 1 lemon (about 2 tablespoons)

1/2 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp salt

1/8 tsp pepper

1/4 cup cold water

1/4 tsp chives for garnish

 

DIRECTIONS

Blend all above ingredients in food processor or blender, and enjoy with fresh veggies, crackers, pita bread, etc!
