Some of my favorite things about fall are the cool crisp air, the coziness that surrounds family gatherings, and the yummy food that is just so darn good for the soul.

We all have our go to appetizers and treats that tend to become our best friend come holiday party time.    This year, one treat that I plan on sharing more than once are these caramel covered apple slices with zero fear that these beauties are going to brown while I am busy socializing… all thanks to NatureSeal.

These caramel covered apple slices were so easy to make!

After slicing the apples, I placed them in a ziplock bag with the NatureSeal mixture & water – which by the way – each packet will do up to 3 lbs of fresh produce.

After removing them from the bag – I placed the sliced apples on some parchment paper followed by a cute drizzle of caramel and topped them off with crushed peanuts and coconut flakes!  If you haven’t tried this combo – I highly recommend it!

They look delicious, right?!

The thought of taking these caramel covered apples to my next gathering makes my heart sing.   Even better if there’s leftovers because these bad boys are going to stay fresh for 1 week!

If you read my last post about how awesome NatureSeal is you know that it’s become a regular household item that we keep on hand at all times…  BUT if you haven’t had a chance to get caught up, you can find that post here.

You all know I love prepping meals and snack bags for the week, this is something I usually try to tackle on Saturday or Sunday… maybe even on a Monday if necessary.   I don’t know if you are like us, but if we don’t have food ready to grab-n-go then we end up eating out way too much and weeks where we aren’t prepared we end up tossing out too much food.

NatureSeal has made my food prep day even better as I now have the option of prepping, slicing and packing up fruits like apples, pears, and peaches and veggies such as carrots and celery ahead of time that I normally wouldn’t consider for fear of them browning and going to waste!  In case you’re wondering – NatureSeal is made of vitamins and minerals, is filler free, and it doesn’t change or alter the taste of the food its used on!   Winner winner!

I am always so impressed and grateful for those who also see the importance of not only eating fresh foods but also see the importance of cutting back on waste.  If you decide to give NatureSeal a try, I would love to hear about your experience with it!
