Even when they’re perfectly behaved angels, traveling anywhere with multiple children (out of town, petting zoo, grocery store) takes effort. Real life, sweat on your brow, why-did-I-think-this-was-worth-it effort. So I’m giving all you moms out there my best tips for travel. Maybe they’ll work for you too!

  1. A Bag of Tricks. I’m talking dollar store toys, cool books, beloved stuffed animals, card games–anything you can pull out at a moment’s notice to entertain when needed.
  2. Food! I basically carry a mini mart when traveling. Food & drinks galore to keep both spirits and blood sugar up. I have never meant a tantrum (toddler or adult) that couldn’t be fixed with gummy bears.
  3. Plan ahead. If possible, keep your hands free. Ideally have baby wipes and strollers accessible at all times. These lightweight double strollers from UPPAbaby are perfect for strapping multiple kids in on the go. I like that they are flexible for all ages, so my one- and three-year-old can adventure together. UPPAbaby knows what’s up.

Isn’t this the cutest view? Built in best friends just hanging out, Mom third-wheeling it big time. It’s a pretty sweet life.
