Soup Bowl Super Bowl

(See what I did there?!)

Ingredients:
2 lbs ground Italian sausage (I used Jimmy Dean Italian)
1 med onion chopped
3 cloves garlic
6 cups beef broth
1 cup water
4 cups diced canned tomatoes (I used Italian seasoned ones)
3 cups tomato sauce
3 large carrots peeled and sliced
2 tbsp oregano
2 tbsp basil
2 tbsp parsley
1-2 ( 10 oz ) packages cheese tortellini (I used the 2 pack fresh tortellini from Costco)

Directions:
Brown sausage in large chunks.
Add onions and garlic.
Add all remaining ingredients except tortellini.
Simmer 2-3 hours.
Add tortellini 45 minutes before serving.
