Holding onto countless art projects, worksheets, essays, etc made by our children can be extremely overwhelming after a while. Not to mention, it begins to take up a lot of space. But for our family it’s an important task to save the hard work and memories. So what’s the solution?

Each of our children has one of these portable filing boxes that they can fill with the schoolwork/creative work that they opt to keep. Within each box we use these file folders to keep things a little more organized. We communicate about deciding what is worth keeping, and what would be okay being recycled. It has given my kids autonomy over their keepsakes and taught them the skill set of minimalism.

For the most important paperwork, we utilize these Folio Document Organizers. They are a quick grab in case of emergency and are an excellent way to safely store vital and precious documents.

I also like having these Clear Acrylic File Organizers in my at-home office to hold all of my work-related material. It makes everything easy to thumb through while still being aesthetically pleasing. Love them.

You can find all of my favorite document organizer links HERE!
